Respite Program
AHADC’s Respite program provides the primary caregiver an occasional break or temporary relief from the day-to-day responsibilities of caring for their family member. Members enjoy a full schedule of activities including games and arts & crafts. Our dedicated staff is present to assist with such dressing, feeding, toileting needs, and much more.
Therapeutic Activities Program
Did you know that allowing our brains the freedom of expression, even through doodling, can have a wonderful impact on how we process, retain, and share information?
AHADC understands the importance of cognitive stimulation and ensures to offer a variety of therapeutic activities such as arts & crafts, therapeutic exercises, sensory games, and much more.
Our therapeutic activities promote the following:
-
Improve cognition and sensory motor skills
-
Cultivate emotional resilience
-
Foster self-awareness and self-esteem
-
Promote insight
-
Enhance social skills
-
Reduce conflict
Exciting activities are created monthly to engage and encourage our members. Every day is a new experience!
